Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-time, school-based Occupational Therapist (OT) position supports K-12 students by delivering makeup OT services across multiple school locations in the Manassas, VA area. The role requires a licensed Virginia OT who can travel itinerantly to various school sites to provide consistent, high-quality therapy to students throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to K-12 students in compliance with individualized education programs (IEPs).
- Travel between school locations as needed to ensure seamless support for all assigned students (mileage reimbursement not provided).
- Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to support student progress and functional outcomes.
- Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and maintain adherence to regulatory and school district standards.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to intervention planning and implementation.
Qualifications:
- Valid and active Virginia Occupational Therapy license is required.
- Experience working in a school-based setting preferred.
- Ability to manage travel logistics and maintain reliable transportation.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with school staff and families.
- Professional, organized, and able to handle multiple assignments in a dynamic educational environment.

Contract Details:
- Competitive contract position, full-time (35 hours per week).
